Olsson again ranks among the 10 largest data center engineering firms in the nation, according to Building Design+Construction.  

Each year, BD+C publishes a list of the largest data center engineering firms. Olsson's No. 7 ranking in 2024 is up three spots from the previous firm-best No. 10 ranking in 2023, marking a steady climb from our No. 13 position the year before.

BD+C determines rankings based on revenue from data center design services performed the previous year, and Olsson's rise has been stark. Data center design revenue increased by 64 percent from 2022 ($38.1 million) to 2023 ($62.7 million).

BD+C shares information each year in its Giants 400 Report, casting light on the largest engineering, architecture and construction firms in the U.S. More than 600 firms were part of the 2024 report, which included 137 sets of rankings across 25 building sectors and specialty categories.
