Olsson Names Ryan Banning Technical Leader

LOVELAND, Colorado (April 28, 2020) – Ryan Banning, an experienced civil engineer who has worked on projects in Northern Colorado for 15 years, was named technical leader of Olsson’s Colorado General Civil team. Olsson is a nationally recognized engineering and design firm with local offices in Denver and Loveland.

As technical leader, Banning will serve as a project manager and will be involved in all aspects of client relations, marketing and business development efforts, quality assurance and development of Olsson’s bright and resourceful young staff for the Colorado General Civil team.

Banning has 15 years of experience as a civil engineer. Prior to joining Olsson, he was a project manager for a Fort Collins-based civil engineering firm, where he designed and managed infrastructure projects ranging from large master planned communities to commercial pad sites.

He has experience working on local residential developments, major arterial roadway systems, marquee master-planned communities, water and sewer systems, storm sewers and drainage designs. Banning has collaborated with state and local officials to design development solutions that benefit the communities they serve.

“Ryan will provide additional leadership to our engineering team in Northern Colorado and will strengthen what we can offer to our clients,” said Josh Erramouspe, team leader of Olsson’s Colorado General Civil practice group. “His knowledge of the communities along the Front Range will be valuable to the municipalities and partners we work with every day.”

Banning earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering and a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering at Colorado State University. He is based in Olsson’s Loveland office.
