Olsson Announces Our Projects of Distinction

A major mixed-use development, a 50-community mobility management plan, a rapid bus transit project, and an early childhood center topped the winner’s list of Olsson’s 2021 Project of Distinction awards.

Launched in 2016, Project of Distinction (POD) awards recognize our best technical achievements of the year. Nominations are submitted by staff and a rotation of the firm’s senior leaders recruits a panel of outside experts to judge the entries. Awards are given in two categories: Collaborative (less than 80 percent completed by a single team) and Focused (more than 80 percent completed by a single team.)

Winners see their projects added to a POD traveling trophy and they receive a special polo shirt to wear with pride. But mostly, the awards give all employees a chance to celebrate the work that best serves our clients.
