Olsson Announces 18 Employees Earn PE or PLA Certifications

Lincoln, Nebraska (January 25, 2023) – Eighteen employees from Olsson recently passed standard required exams and earned either professional engineer (PE) or professional landscape architect (PLA) certification.
To earn PE certification, a person must complete four years of professional experience under a licensed PE and pass the PE exam. PLA certification requires passage of the landscape architect registration exam. The 18 Olsson employees who earned professional certifications are named below:
Islam Abdelmegid is a member of the Transportation team in Texas. He designs roads and highways and has a B.S. in civil engineering from Cairo University.
Ryan Allen is a member of the Telecom team in Nebraska. He specializes in data instrumentation and control design and has a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Eric Benson is a member of the Data Center General Civil team in Nebraska. He is responsible for project management and landscape architecture and has a B.S. in landscape architecture from South Dakota State University and an M.A. from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Erika Bowman is a member of the Water team in Colorado. She creates models for floodplain maps and permits and has a B.S. in biological systems engineering from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
Christian Canon is a member of the Power Delivery team in Kansas. He is responsible for modeling and quality control of power lines and has a B.S. in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology.
Nathan Chapman is a member of the Telecom team living in Montana. He supervises utility and industrial automation and has a B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Wyoming.
Allison Crawford is a member of the Field Operations team in Nebraska. She is responsible for project management, geotechnical reports, and foundation tests and has a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Zack DelGrosso is a member of the Water team in Colorado. He works on drainage, stormwater and natural waterway projects and has a B.S. from the University of Mary Washington and an M.S. in civil engineering from Virginia Tech.
John Flaxbeard is a member of the Data Center General Civil team in Kansas. He specializes in design and management for data center sites and has a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha.
Salman Khan is a member of the Mechanical/Electrical team living in Texas. He executes quality control plans for clients and has a B.S. in electrical engineering from Oklahoma State University.
Jordan Koskelin is a member of the Field Operations team in Nebraska. She analyzes tests and data to provide geotechnical recommendations and has a B.S. in civil engineering from the University of Texas at San Antonio.
Caleb LeBow is a member of the General Civil team in Arkansas. He designs mixed-use and residential land development projects and has a B.S. and M.S. in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas.
Jeremy Ng is a member of the Transportation & Roadway team in Texas. He is responsible for roadway designs and production plans and has a B.S in civil engineering from the University of Oklahoma.
Mason Olson is a member of the General Civil team in Kansas. He manages and designs civil projects and has a B.S. from Missouri State University and a B.S. in civil engineering from Missouri University of Science & Technology.
David Pendleton is a member of the General Civil team living in Colorado. He leads technical design tasks and has a B.S. in civil engineering from Colorado State University.
Tim Quetsch is a member of the Power Delivery team in Arkansas. He designs physical layouts for substations and power lines and has a B.S. in mechanical engineering from Iowa State University.
