10 Olsson Employees Earn Professional Engineer Certification

LINCOLN, Nebraska (Feb. 6, 2020) – Ten employees from Olsson recently passed standard required exams and earned professional engineer (PE) certification.
To earn certification, a person must complete four years of professional experience under a licensed PE and pass the PE exam. The 10 Olsson employees who recently became a PE and were promoted to associate engineer are:
Linsey Brown, Omaha Structural team. Brown performs structural design and analysis of vertical structures, including commercial and industrial buildings, platforms and tank foundations. She is from Missouri Valley, Iowa, and graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with bachelor’s and master’s degrees in architectural engineering.
Nate O’Keefe, Nebraska Water/Wastewater team. O’Keefe helps communities evaluate and design water and wastewater infrastructure to provide the best quality of life for their residents. The Lincoln native graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2015 with a degree in civil engineering.
Christopher Skeen, Omaha General Civil team. Skeen helps manage the design and coordination of site infrastructure for large data centers and private commercial developments. In 2015, he earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Skeen is a native of Grand Island, Nebraska.
Michelle Danaher, Colorado Water Resources team. Danaher’s role involves stream restoration, drainage design, completing floodplain studies and construction observation. She graduated from Colorado School of Mines in 2015 with a degree in civil engineering and is from Littleton, Colorado.
Ryan Yenni, Manhattan General Civil team. Yenni primarily designs commercial restaurant sites for Olsson, which includes grading, stormwater compliance, utility locations and permitting. The Lindsborg, Kansas, native is a 2015 graduate of Kansas State University with a degree in civil engineering.
Ryan Kubert, Manhattan General Civil team. Kubert joined Olsson in 2015 and works with clients to find site development solutions and secure local agency approvals for public and private clients. He graduated from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln with a degree in civil engineering and is a native of Lincoln.
Mark Diebolt, North Kansas City General Civil team. Diebolt, a native of Topeka, Kansas, designs commercial, industrial and residential projects for several clients. He graduated from the University of Kansas with a degree in civil engineering in 2015 and joined Olsson a year later.
Krystina Pacheco, Colorado Water Resources team. Pacheco’s work is focused on stream restoration, drainage design, floodplain management, hydrologic and hydraulic modeling and construction observation for various projects. She graduated from Colorado School of Mines with a degree in civil engineering and is from Grand Junction, Colorado.
Erin Needham, Fayetteville Water/Wastewater team. Needham has worked on a number of projects since joining Olsson in which she has done hydraulic modeling, master planning, design work for a pump station, water lines and a water storage tank. She earned a bachelor’s, master’s and a Ph.D. in civil engineering from the University of Arkansas.
Austin Kuecher, Sarpy County Field Operations team. Kuecher is a geotechnical engineer and interprets subsurface soil data to provide recommendations for the design and construction of rail projects. The Kenosha, Wisconsin, native graduated from Montana Tech in 2015 with a bachelor’s degree in mining engineering.
