Ochsner Hare & Hare, the Olsson Studio (the Olsson Studio), hosted an open house in its new space located in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. Many clients and friends attended to see what the studio is doing now and to celebrate its storied history.
To honor the studio’s past, the open house included a book signing event in which authors Cydney Millstein and Carol Grove were on hand to sign the recently published Hare & Hare, Landscape Architects & City Planners. The book details the legacy of Hare & Hare and the firm’s contribution to creating beautiful places in Kansas City and throughout the Midwest.
The original father and son firm of Hare & Hare played a key role in the development of Kansas City through their design of parks, boulevards, and the original Country Club Plaza. Today, the Olsson Studio is an industry leader in landscape architectural design, land planning, and more. You can see the studio’s handiwork throughout the United States.
An outer wall of the new office contains a mural of the old Hare & Hare logo that includes Sidney J. Hare’s signature.
